In the quiet surrounding of the hills and just minutes away from the sea lies
a small and cosy structure matching the antique typology of the typical country

from the peaceful countryside to the lively towns on the seaside like Fano,
Senigallia, Pesaro, Rimini and Ancona, the choice of possible excursions is
wide and diverse.
In the neighbourhood and in the entire area you will find a wide range of
restaurants to choose from: you will find the simple and cheap inn as well as
the restaurant international known for its best cooking. All of them offer the
genuine cooking of the region: a menu made by the freshest fish and the products
of the fields. The cook will offer you a wide choice of specialties like the
“piadina”, the home made salted pork meats, wild meat or the most famous white
truffle (in season). And the menu will not forget a large choice of wine of
increasing quality.
Since the region started to flourish, cultural events are multiplying:
theatre, concerts, festivals and other international events. If you are looking
for something more contemporary, many clubs on the coast and in the countryside
offer in summer a wide choice of live music (Il violino e la selce, Fano Jazz,
Sipario d’estate, Ville e Castella, Mostra internazionale del nuovo cinema). The
offer ranges on the more classical print of some international events known for
their excellent quality as the Festival Rossini in Pesaro, or the Macerata
Opera.
At any season the Locanda is the best choice for a short weekend away to discover
cultural events, as well as for long-staying holidays dedicated to peace and
quietness, relax and pleasures. It is also a perfect stop on a long journey.
The Locanda is very easy to reach from any transport connection and at the same
time is placed far enough not to suffer the noise of the traffic and the confusion
of the coast: just 10 km away from the highway A14 (exit Marotta-Mondolfo) and
from the freeway Fano-Roma; a short drive from the railway Milano-Bologna-Bari;
30 minutes away from the international airports of Falconara and Rimini and
from the tourist harbour of Ancona.
